Where you can find the cheapest ice cream, this guide can help. I love ice cream, I will taste whatever ice cream I can found. Here are some of my favourite shops and listed their price for your reference. There price vary by location as well, but not much different. I found that the ice cream market is very competative which narrow their profit margin and their price. So you can see there is not much different in price between different ice cream shops. The cheapest is Wendys, however in my opinion the taste is not good as the others and with less variety. Gelatissimo is my favourite shop, their price is in middle range and with lots of fruity flavours, my favourite are mango and pistachio. Their fat free range is the best choice for ladies always looking after their figure. I can eat as much as I can without worrying putting on weight. I had listed some other shops I visit, they also got great ice cream range for everyone.

unlucky! i putting on weight because eat too much ice cream recently. I just check the brand ice cream which i always take in . I found that Swiss chalet chocolate ice cream has lowest carolies .

      I think i should chose some fat free ice cream which is more health.There are some brand provide fat free ice cream  such as Gelatissimo, Edys, Breyers.On the other hand we also can make fat free ice cream by ourself. ICEPAN icecream

Have you heard of ICEPAN? ICEPAN is a icecream store that makes icecream for people just in front of their eyes. In March 2004, its creator called Dong H. Sul had an idea of making icecream that is healthy based on organic ingredients and no chemical. Plus, he had a creative idea of making icecream from scratch. He innovated a icepan for making icecream.

The advantages of ICEPAN icecream is:

-it is freshly made within about a minute

-it provides dairy choices: soy, nonfat, regular, whole

-it gives flexibilites to customer of choosing from 19 fresh toppings and 16 flavours of icecream

In comparison to ordinary icecream, ICEPAN icecream is very low in sugar, fat and cholesterol and no colour additives whereas oridnary icecream is extremely high in sugar, fat and cholesterol and most of them contains common color additives that are the compounded products of benzene from coal-tar and naphthalene. These additives can cause major damage to your digestive system, liver and kidney.

This time, I am going to introduce one of my favorite brands of gelato - Gelatissimo!

 

First comes with some information of this company:

The Gelatissimo Group launched the Gelatissimo Retail Chain in September 2002 with great success. It is now has over 30 stores being a combination of national and international outlets, including a mix of company-owned and franchised stores.

It's quite famous I think, because I can find in both Hong Kong and Sydney.

I next thing I am going to talk about is my favorite flavor!

Biscottino is the best ice cream I had ever try in my life! Biscottino means Italian cookies and cream.

Actually, I don't know how to explain it. It was just so good, it was just wonderful... oh... god~

If you got the chance to go to Gelatissimo, you must try it!

Somebody said Pistachio is quite good, but I didn't got the chance to try it, maybe next time~ haha

Ice cream addition~~ ice cream addition is something you can add on ice cream to make the more tasty. There are three common ice cream additions. These are topping, sauces and cone.

Sauce is a sugar solution with different ingredients. The famous ice cream sauces are chocolate, toffee and coffee. You can buy ice cream sauce in supermarket easily. You just need to mix sauce with ice cream directly. Then you can enjoy it.

Topping are something you want to put on the top of ice cream. For example are Nuts, Fruit and chocolate. After you add topping to ice cream. You can enjoy wonderful flavor of ice cream.

Ice cream cone is very popular addition of ice cream. Ice cream cone is made of waffle. Children love ice cream cone very much because the cone likes cookies. Also they do not need spoon and dishes. They can eat the ice cream more convenient.  

I love Dippin’ Dots' ice cream when the first time i saw it from advertising. It is attractive because   it 's tiny and colourful just like a small pea. The taste really sweet and not as creamy as normal ice cream. Dippin’ Dots is an ice cream snack invented in 1987 by Curt Jone. The most interesting thing which it's using liquid nitrogen  to mix with flash freezing ice cream. So no  conventional ice cream freezer required.

When I first came to Australia, I was surprised to see that there is home icecream. At first I did not think that it will taste good but after I tried it I think it is quite nice. Let me tell you about home icecream in Australia~

- 1959, a guy called Keith Reisinger, who was a refrigeration engineer in a Toowoomba dairy factory, decided to manufacture a superior ice cream using rich, Darling Downs milk from the region.  He made alternatives to major brands of ice cream from a small plant. And with the support of his wife, he established a factory to produce product for the Pixie brand and also other brands.

Hello~ today, let me talk about some beverages which about ice cream. Did you listen “black cow”, “brow cow”, “ice float” or “spider”? These are name of the ice cream soda in different countries. But, what is ice cream soda?? Ice cream soda is a beverage that mixes soft drink and ice cream. This drink is created by Canadian in 1800s.

“Ice float” is name of this drink in England. And “black cow” is for Hong Kong. “Spider” is for Australia and New Zealand.

 There are three types famous ice cream soda. They are “Root Beer Float”, “Snow White” and “Black Cow”. Root Beer Float is that vanilla ice cream mix with root beer. Root beer is a soft drink very popular in America.

Also, Snow White is made of 7UP or Sprite and vanilla ice cream. It is famous in Asia. The last one is “Black Cow”. “Black Cow” is that add vanilla ice cream in Coke. It is because Coke is black color, so the mixture is called “Black Cow”.

In this summer, you can try to make this beverage by yourself~!

Many of you should be familiar with McDonalds Soft serve cone! No matter in what seasons, you can find this ice-cream available nearly in everywhere!  You might know that it only costs $0.50 and the fact that only takes you few minutes to finish it off! Yes, it does have a very short life. You might not think about what it really is and where does it come from in the first place... so let me tell you some easy facts about soft serve ~

Soft serve is a type of ice cream that is softer than regular ice cream. That is why it is called soft serve. It is easy and simple and soft!

When enjoying soft serve, many people usually focus on enjoying the coldness that it provides but not the taste of it. Soft serve is generally lower in milk-fat than ice cream by 7 – 12 %. Unlike ice cream which is stored at −15 °C, soft serve is stored at temperature around −4 °C.  That is why it only lasts for a few minutes or not even when it comes to melting...                      

One other interesting fact is that there is air being injected or added to it when it is produced. Product with higher air content tastes creamier, smoother and lighter and appears whiter. What do you think of McDonalds’ soft serve? It is white and quite creamy I guess...
